midweek break

spent a very enjoyable day with friends Jim Tellin and John O'Reilly, initially touring a wonderful garden that is a constant shifting environment of colors and textures that Jim has been nurturing and shaping over many years, then a delicious lunch at home and off to see a wonderfully displayed show of rona pondick's sculptures, commingled with many pieces from the museum collection, which she chose to work with her mini installations..afterwards we three went to the Woodworth St. home in Worcester where Stanley Kunitz was raised (and started his first garden), to celebrate and pay hommage on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of his birth...afterwards we toasted Stanley and his work, both on the page and in the dirt
