Wishing Jim Tellin the very best Outcome

Today is Friday the 13th, with another one coming up next month. My friend Jim Tellin, man of derring-do* and color/ texture adventurer is having a pacemaker installation today after dealing with an irregular heartbeat recently. I wish him a speedy and complete recovery and a renewed sense of vigor to continue his series of wonderful constructions. and a Happy Valentine's Day to him and John.

*"Derring-do" turns out to have an interesting history. The OED lists it as a "pseudo archaism" which originated with Chaucer, was misunderstood by Lydgate, picked up but misprinted by Spenser, and then taken up by Sir Walter Scott, and it's been "derring-do" ever since.
